Boarding and day care happen at the North Hollywood house. Walks, drop-in visits and pet sitting come to you, anywhere in Los Angeles County. Prices are per pet; an extra pet is $50 a night on top of the first.

Rates are per dog. A second dog from the same family is arranged when you book. Prices are confirmed in writing before any stay begins.
Room to actually be a dog
The whole point of a home stay is space. The yard is fully fenced, shaded in the afternoon, and open all day, so dogs move between sun, shade and the couch on their own schedule.

Dogs do better on the food they already eat and the schedule they already know. Pack what they use at home and nothing changes except the address.

We safely transport your pets to their destination. The back seat is covered and set up before your dog gets in, they travel clipped in rather than loose, and water and their own bowl come along. And we never forget the pup cups.

One family of dogs at a time for boarding. That is the whole point of the place, and it is also why the good weeks go early. Bookings need 5 hours' notice; anything sooner, just message.
Hi, I'm Margarita
Your Pup's Bestie is a small, home-based dog care service in North Hollywood. Dogs stay in my house and my yard, in a normal routine, with someone who is actually around. That is the whole idea, and it is why I keep the numbers small rather than filling every space.

The things worth agreeing on first
Short, clear and applied to every dog equally. Booking a stay means you agree to these.
Health
All dogs are welcome. The one minimum is a current rabies vaccination, which California law requires for every dog.
If your dog has a health condition or is unwell, just tell us before the stay so we can plan around it.
Temperament
All dogs are welcome. The only dogs we cannot take are dogs with a history of attacking people or other dogs.
If your dog is reactive, nervous or barks a lot, just tell us before you book so we can plan the stay around it. Neutered or not makes no difference to us.
Medication and food
Bring food and medication for the whole stay plus one extra day, in the original packaging, with written instructions. Oral medication is given at no extra charge. Injections are taken case by case, so ask before you book.
Responsibility, vet care and damage
The house and yard are covered by security cameras, inside and out. You remain your dog's owner and handler for the whole stay. You are responsible for anything your dog does, including injury to people or other animals and damage to property, and for any costs that come from it.
By booking, you authorize us to arrange emergency veterinary care if we cannot reach you, and you agree that the cost of that care is yours. We will always try to reach you first.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Your Pup's Bestie is not liable for illness, injury, escape, loss or death of a pet, except where it is caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. Full detail is in the Terms of Service.
Booking and cancelling
Book at least 5 hours ahead. The booking form will not offer a time inside that window. If something is genuinely last minute, message us on Instagram and we will tell you straight away whether we can take it.
Cancel at least 3 hours before the booking starts and there is nothing to pay. Inside 3 hours, one night or one visit is charged, because that time was held for your dog and turned away for somebody else's. Cancel by email or on Instagram, whichever is faster for you.
If we ever have to cancel on you, you pay nothing and we will help you find cover.
Payment and drop-off
Payment is arranged directly with Margarita once the booking is confirmed. Drop-off and pick-up windows are agreed in that same confirmation, so they fit around your travel.

Boarding and daycare take place at the house in North Hollywood. Walks, drop-in visits and pet sitting at your home are available across Los Angeles County. Longer drives are still fine, they are just scheduled around the day.
