Back to Your Pup's Bestie

Privacy Policy

Last updated 27 August 2026

This policy explains what Your Pup's Bestie collects through yourpupsbestie.com, why, who else sees it, and how to have it removed. It is written to be read, not to be endured.

1. What we collect

Only what you type into the booking form:

  • Your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number
  • The area of Los Angeles you are in, when the service happens at your home
  • Your dog's name, breed, size, age, food and medication details, and anything else you tell us
  • The service, dates and preferred time you requested

We do not use analytics, advertising tags, tracking pixels or cookies on this site. There is no account to create and no password to store. We do not collect location data, and the site does not read anything from your device.

2. Why we collect it

To answer your request, to confirm a booking, and to care for your dog correctly. Medication and food details exist so that your dog's routine does not change. We do not use any of it for marketing and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

3. Who processes it

Booking requests are delivered to our scheduling calendar, which is provided by the Tegula Stone booking platform and hosted on Google Cloud Platform and Firebase (Google LLC) in the United States. Google processes and stores the data on our behalf as our service provider. Confirmation and reply emails are sent through Google's email service. If you message us on Instagram instead, that conversation is held by Meta under its own privacy policy.

4. How long we keep it

Booking records are kept while you are a client and for up to two years after the last booking, so that we have a record of care, medication given and any incident. After that they are deleted. Requests that never became bookings are deleted within twelve months.

5. Your choices and your rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will action it within 30 days. There is no charge and we will not treat you differently for asking.

California residents have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act to know what personal information is collected, to have it deleted, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by that law.

6. Photographs of your dog

We post photographs of dogs in our care to our own Instagram account. Tell us if you would rather we did not, and we will not post your dog. Photographs are of animals, not of people or homes.

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Booking data is transmitted directly to our scheduling provider and is readable only by our own signed-in account. We keep no copy of your data on this website itself, and the site stores nothing about you in your browser except a short timestamp that stops the same request being sent twice.

8. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

9. Artificial intelligence

Some content and tooling on this site were produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence, which can be inaccurate. Your personal information is not used to train any AI model.

10. Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Questions go to [email protected].
