This policy explains what Furry Fun, trading as Your Pup's Bestie, collects through yourpupsbestie.com, why, who else sees it, and how to have it removed. It is written to be read, not to be endured.
Only what you type into the booking form:
We do not use analytics, advertising tags, tracking pixels or cookies on this site. There is no account to create and no password to store. We do not collect location data, and the site does not read anything from your device.
To answer your request, to confirm a booking, and to care for your dog correctly. Medication and food details exist so that your dog's routine does not change. We do not use any of it for marketing and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Booking requests are delivered to our scheduling calendar, which is provided by the Tegula Stone booking platform and hosted on Google Cloud Platform and Firebase (Google LLC) in the United States. Google processes and stores the data on our behalf as our service provider. Confirmation and reply emails are sent through Google's email service. If you message us on Instagram instead, that conversation is held by Meta under its own privacy policy.
This website is served by Cloudflare, Inc., which also measures page loads for us. That measurement is cookieless and counts pages, timings and rough location; it does not identify you, does not follow you to other sites, and never receives anything you type into a form.
Booking records are kept while you are a client and for up to two years after the last booking, so that we have a record of care, medication given and any incident. After that they are deleted. Requests that never became bookings are deleted within twelve months.
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will action it within 30 days. There is no charge and we will not treat you differently for asking.
California residents have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act to know what personal information is collected, to have it deleted, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by that law.
We post photographs of dogs in our care to our own Instagram account. Tell us if you would rather we did not, and we will not post your dog. Photographs are of animals, not of people or homes.
Some of those photographs are also shown on this website, copied onto our own hosting so that viewing them tells Instagram nothing. The short videos are different: a video tile shows a still picture until you tap it, and only then does the page load the video from Instagram (Meta Platforms, Inc.). At that point Meta can see your IP address and may set its own cookies, under its privacy policy rather than ours. If you never tap a video, nothing is requested from Instagram at all.
The house and yard where dogs are boarded have security cameras, inside and outside, so the dogs can be seen from another room and so there is a record if a pet is hurt or something is damaged. Recordings are kept only as long as that purpose needs, are not published, and are not shared except where we are legally required to. You are not recorded in your own home: walks, drop-in visits and pet sitting happen at your address and we bring no camera to them. The full terms are in section 7 of the terms.
The site is served over HTTPS. Booking data is transmitted directly to our scheduling provider and is readable only by our own signed-in account. We keep no copy of your data on this website itself, and the site itself stores nothing about you in your browser except a short timestamp that stops the same request being sent twice — though if you tap one of the videos, Instagram may set cookies of its own, as described in section 6.
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
