Terms of Service

Last updated 27 August 2026

These terms apply to this website and to any pet care service booked through it. "We", "us", "Furry Fun" and "Your Pup's Bestie" mean the same independent pet care service: Furry Fun, trading as Your Pup's Bestie at yourpupsbestie.com, based in North Hollywood, California. "You" means the person who owns or is legally responsible for the animal. By sending a booking request or handing over a pet, you accept these terms.

1. Bookings are requests until confirmed

Sending a request through this site does not create a booking and does not charge you anything. A booking exists only once we confirm it to you in writing, including the dates, the service and the rate. Until then, dates are not held.

A booking must be requested at least 5 hours before it is due to start. The booking form will not offer a time inside that window. If something is genuinely last minute, message us on Instagram and we will say straight away whether we can take it.

2. Rates and payment

Rates are per pet and are shown on the home page. As of September 2026 they are: boarding $100 a night for a small dog under 25 lb and $150 a night for a medium or large dog; each additional pet $50 a night, so two small dogs are $150 a night and two medium or large dogs are $200 a night; day care $90 a day from 6am to 8pm whatever the size of the dog; walks and drop-in visits $35 an hour; pet sitting at your home $30 an hour. Cats, rabbits and caged pets are quoted individually, because what they need varies far more than a dog does — ask by email or on Instagram.

Rates can change. The rate that applies to you is the one confirmed in writing before the service begins, and a confirmed booking is never repriced afterwards. Payment is arranged directly with Margarita; this website never takes a payment and never handles card details.

3. Cancellation

Cancel or change a confirmed booking at least 3 hours before it is due to start and there is nothing to pay. Inside 3 hours, one night or one visit is payable, because that time was held for your pet and turned away for somebody else's. Cancel by email or by message on Instagram, whichever reaches us faster.

If we ever have to cancel on you, you owe nothing and we will help you find someone else.

4. Your dog, your responsibility

You confirm that what you tell us about your pet is accurate and complete: health, medication, and behaviour. You must tell us before the booking if your dog is aggressive or reactive to people or other animals, guards food or toys, has ever bitten, or barks persistently. All dogs are welcome except dogs with a history of attacking people or other animals, and none of it costs more — but being surprised by it during a stay is a safety problem for your dog, for the other dogs and for us, and it is grounds to end the stay immediately at your cost. Neutering is not required and makes no difference to the price.

You remain the owner and the legally responsible party throughout. You are responsible for everything your pet does while in our care, including injury to any person or animal and damage to any property, and for all costs, claims and losses arising from it. That includes damage to our home, our garden, our vehicle or our belongings, and damage caused at a third party's property during a walk or a visit.

5. Health and veterinary care

Dogs must have a current rabies vaccination, which California law requires. There is no other vaccination requirement and no spay/neuter requirement. We may decline or end a stay if a pet appears unwell, is contagious, or behaves in a way that puts people or other animals at risk.

If your pet needs veterinary attention and we cannot reach you, you authorise us to obtain emergency veterinary care from a licensed veterinarian of our choosing, and you agree that all resulting costs are yours. We will always try to reach you first.

We are not a veterinary practice. Nothing we say is veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment.

6. Limitation of liability

Who you are dealing with. Your Pup's Bestie is one person — Margarita, working from her own home in North Hollywood — and not a kennel, a franchise or a company. There is no overnight staff, no veterinary team on site and no corporate insurer behind her. Please read that as the plain description of the service you are buying, because it is the reason the rest of this section is worded the way it is.

Risk you accept. Pet care carries risk that no amount of care removes. Animals can injure themselves, become ill, escape a lead or a gate, react badly to a new place, or behave unpredictably around other animals, and any of it can happen with nobody at fault. By booking, you accept that risk on your pet's behalf.

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Your Pup's Bestie is not liable for illness, injury, escape, theft, loss or death of any animal, or for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, arising out of the services. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service the claim relates to.

What this section does not do. Under California Civil Code section 1668 a person cannot contract out of liability for their own fraud, wilful injury, or violation of law, and nothing here attempts to. This section limits ordinary liability; it does not excuse gross negligence or deliberate harm, and it does not take away any right you have that cannot lawfully be taken away.

Claims are individual. Any claim is brought on your own behalf only, and not as a class action or on behalf of anyone else. You agree not to bring or join a class, collective or representative action about these services.

7. Cameras at the house

The house and yard are covered by security cameras, inside and outside. They exist so we can see the dogs when we are in another room and so there is a record if something goes wrong — for example if a dog is hurt, or if something is damaged and we need to establish what happened. Recordings are kept only as long as that purpose needs and are not published anywhere.

Clients are not recorded in their own homes. Walks, drop-in visits and pet sitting take place at your address, and we bring no camera to them.

8. Photographs

We take photographs and short videos of the dogs in our care and may share them on our own social media, including the Instagram account @_furry_fun_. Tell us in writing if you would prefer that your dog does not appear, and we will not post them.

9. Use of this website

Do not use this site to submit false information, to send automated or bulk requests, or to attempt to interfere with it. We may decline any request for any lawful reason.

10. Artificial intelligence disclosure

Parts of this website's content and some of the tools used to operate it were produced or assisted by artificial intelligence. AI-generated content can be inaccurate or incomplete. Nothing on this site is a substitute for professional advice, and the written confirmation you receive from us is what governs your booking.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules. If a dispute arises, contact us first at [email protected] and we will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.

If that does not resolve it, the dispute will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, seated in Los Angeles County, California. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies. Claims must be brought individually and not as a class action.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force for your booking is the one published on the day we confirm it. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
