These terms apply to this website and to any pet care service booked through it. "We", "us" and "Your Pup's Bestie" mean the independent pet care service operating as Your Pup's Bestie at yourpupsbestie.com, based in North Hollywood, California. "You" means the person who owns or is legally responsible for the animal. By sending a booking request or handing over a pet, you accept these terms.
Sending a request through this site does not create a booking and does not charge you anything. A booking exists only once we confirm it to you in writing, including the dates, the service and the rate. Until then, dates are not held.
Rates shown on this site are starting rates for one dog and may change. The rate that applies to you is the one confirmed in writing before the service begins. Payment is arranged directly with us and is due as stated in that confirmation. There is no subscription, no automatic renewal and no recurring charge of any kind attached to this site.
You may cancel or change a confirmed booking at no cost more than 48 hours before it starts. Inside 48 hours, one night or one visit is payable. If we cancel, you owe nothing and we will help you find alternative dates where we can.
You confirm that the information you give us about your dog is accurate and complete, including health, medication, behavior and any history of biting or aggression. You remain the owner and the legally responsible party throughout the service.
You are responsible for everything your dog does while in our care, including injury to any person or animal and damage to any property, and for all costs, claims and losses arising from it. If your dog damages property at our home or at a third party's property, you agree to reimburse the reasonable cost of repair or replacement.
Dogs must be up to date on rabies, DHPP and bordetella vaccinations and on a flea and tick preventative. We may decline or end a stay if a dog appears unwell, is contagious, or behaves in a way that puts people or other animals at risk.
If your dog needs veterinary attention and we cannot reach you, you authorize us to obtain emergency veterinary care from a licensed veterinarian of our choosing, and you agree that all resulting costs are yours. We will always attempt to reach you and your emergency contact first.
We are not a veterinary practice. Nothing we say is veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Pet care carries inherent risk. Dogs can injure themselves, become ill, react to a new environment, or interact unpredictably with other animals, and this can happen without anyone being at fault.
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Your Pup's Bestie is not liable for illness, injury, escape, theft, loss or death of any animal, or for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, arising from the services. This limitation does not apply to gross negligence, willful misconduct, or to any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service that the claim relates to.
We take photographs and short videos of the dogs in our care and may share them on our own social media, including the Instagram account @_furry_fun_. Tell us in writing if you would prefer that your dog does not appear, and we will not post them.
Do not use this site to submit false information, to send automated or bulk requests, or to attempt to interfere with it. We may decline any request for any lawful reason.
Parts of this website's content and some of the tools used to operate it were produced or assisted by artificial intelligence. AI-generated content can be inaccurate or incomplete. Nothing on this site is a substitute for professional advice, and the written confirmation you receive from us is what governs your booking.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules. If a dispute arises, contact us first at [email protected] and we will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.
If that does not resolve it, the dispute will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, seated in Los Angeles County, California. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies. Claims must be brought individually and not as a class action.
We may update these terms. The version in force for your booking is the one published on the day we confirm it. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
